Job summary

Spanish Peaks Mountain Club in Big Sky, MT, is seeking a Lead Server for the Clubhouse Signature Restaurant. This seasonal full-time role requires leading the service team, maintaining menu knowledge, and delivering a luxury guest experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, beverage knowledge, and the flexibility to work weekends and holidays. Benefits include a dynamic team environment in a private club setting.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years restaurant experience and/or 3-4 years’ of server experience in a hotel, private club or similar restaurant establishment.
• Excellent customer service skills and an in-depth knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food are required.
• Must have strong communication skills and ability to multi-task is required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the serving team to ensure smooth service during all meal periods.
• Assist in ordering supplies and alcohol by maintaining par levels at the direction of the Manager.
• Guide guests through all phases of their dining experience with full menu knowledge.
• Enforce all State and Federal laws regarding liquor sales and assist in training new servers.
• Set up events according to event specifications, including buffets, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and decorations.
• Work with event manager and kitchen staff to ensure smooth event execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all equipment and spaces.
