Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno seeks a friendly Host/Cashier to greet and seat guests, manage the wait list, and handle payments with accuracy. You will answer phones, take reservations, and assist guests with seating and service flow in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining a positive professional image, upselling beverages, and following all cash handling and POS procedures while supporting a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 6 months of previous cash handling experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Ability to obtain an Alcohol Awareness Certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests upon arrival.
• Count and ring in all guests.
• Maintain clean register and entrance area.
• Seat guests with seating preferences and manage wait list.
• Answer phones and take reservations.
• Handle payments with proper cash handling techniques.
• Upsell beer, wine, and alcohol when appropriate.
