Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV seeks a friendly Host Cashier for our Oyster/Sushi Bar. You will greet and seat guests, handle payments with accurate cash management, and support smooth operations with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

6 months of previous cash handling experience preferred.
Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat all guests upon arrival with attention to booth or table preferences and station rotation.
Count and ring in all guests.
Answer phones.
Finalize all transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain cleanliness of cashier areas.
Upsell beer, wine, and alcohol to increase revenue.
Handle products carefully to reduce waste and loss.
Keep entrance area clean and presentable.
Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Keep supervisor informed of guest concerns and comments.
Demonstrate willingness to work as part of a team.
Ensure guest satisfaction with a positive, courteous attitude.
