Job summary

Ute Mountain Casino Hotel in Colorado's Towaoc is seeking an entry-level Host/Cashier to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and handle transactions with accuracy. You will coordinate guest flow and support front-of-house operations to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to obtain Gaming Commission license.

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Strong guest service orientation with cash accuracy.
• Front-of-house experience preferred for host/cashier roles.

Responsibilities

• Reception & First Impression: Welcome guests promptly and professionally, manage reservations and waitlists, and create a positive first impression.
• Seating Coordination & Flow Management: Assign tables strategically to balance server sections and minimize wait times.
• Cash Handling & Transaction Accuracy: Process guest payments accurately, handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Communication & Service Coordination: Relay seating updates and requests to ensure seamless service.
• Dining Room Support: Assist with table resets and keeping the dining area clean during service.
• Policy Compliance & Operational Standards: Adhere to safety, sanitation, and guest service policies.
