Job summary

Jena Choctaw Pines is seeking a Cashier Host to greet guests, seat them promptly, and manage payments at the cashier/host station. You will balance cash, handle comps, and ensure accurate transaction processing in a fast-paced casino environment.

The role emphasizes exceptional guest service, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task during peak periods while maintaining a clean, inviting dining area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year cash handling experience.
• Minimum of 6 months customer service experience in a high-volume operation (casino experience preferred).
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and to follow verbal instructions.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and Tribal Gaming Commission licensing.
• Tribal preference applies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant and escort them to tables.
• Maintain a visible cashier/host station and circulate the dining area as needed.
• Operate POS system and handle payments and comps accurately.
• Count revenues and balance cash register reports; alert management to discrepancies.
• Answer guest questions and provide information on available services.
• Promote a welcoming atmosphere and respond to guest concerns in a timely manner.
