Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Waukegan, IL is looking for a friendly Greeter/Counter Desk Attendant for part-time, evening and weekend shifts. You’ll welcome guests, manage the waitlist, ring sales, and operate our POS and PA systems to set a welcoming tone.

This role requires a HS diploma or equivalent restaurant/hospitality experience and excellent telephone etiquette. You’ll assist guests with basic bowling instruction, log equipment issues, and help with league preparation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent restaurant/hospitality experience (Optional)
• Proven success in school/previous job experience
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol

Responsibilities

• Be friendly and inviting to our guests in person and over the phone.
• Manage the waitlist.
• Track availability and assign lanes, shoes & other equipment.
• Prepare for leagues.
• Ring sales at the counter and follow cash control procedures.
• Notify mechanics of pinspotter/pinsetter malfunctions and log these issues.
• Assist our guests with basic bowling instruction.
• Operate POS system, central panel, computers, and PA system.
