Skillets in the United States is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, seat them promptly, manage waitlists, and ensure a positive first impression from arrival.

You will coordinate with waitstaff, answer calls, maintain an organized seating system, handle reservations, and resolve guest questions with tact and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. A professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are important.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor expected.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables and ensure they are comfortable.
• Manage guest reservations and maintain an organized seating system.
• Answer phone calls, take and relay messages, and provide accurate information to guests.
• Coordinate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Maintain a clean and presentable host stand and lobby area.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with management to improve guest experience and implement changes.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
