Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in New York is seeking a part-time host to welcome guests, manage reservations, assist with event check-ins, and support the guest flow at our venue.

The role requires hospitality experience, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Training will cover in-venue host procedures and company standards, with emphasis on teamwork and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience.
• Previous host/guest-facing experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests upon arrival with a warm, professional impression.
• Anticipates guest needs and accommodates requests to enhance the experience.
• Coordinates reservations and manages guest flow and seating.
• Checks in ticketed guests for events and activations.
• Assists with wristbands and verification procedures as applicable.
• Supports venue operations and front desk setup and close procedures.
• Maintains entrance area cleanliness and presentation.
• Attends daily pre-service meetings and training sessions.
