Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in New York seeks part-time hosts to create a welcoming first impression for guests arriving at our venues, coordinating reservations and managing flow for seating and entry timing.

The role involves assisting with check-in for pop-up activations and events, maintaining entrance presentation, and collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have hospitality experience and guest-facing skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume venues is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests upon arrival and provides a warm, professional, hospitable first impression.
• Anticipates guest needs and accommodates requests to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Coordinates reservations and assists with managing guest flow and seating or entry timing.
• Checks in ticketed guests for pop-up activations and special events.
• Assists with guest wristbanding and verification procedures, as applicable.
• Maintains the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the entrance and host area.
• Attends and actively participates in daily pre-service meetings and training sessions.
• Collaborates with team members to ensure seamless service and operations.
• Adheres to health regulations and company sanitation standards.
