Qualifications

• One year in a guest service position preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good judgment and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage the flow of traffic, and maintain guest areas.
• Introduce guests to their server and accommodate special requests.
• Answer questions and provide item suggestions and information about the establishment.
• Quote accurate wait times and manage paging devices.
• Direct guests to proper holding/waiting area and coordinate table movement.
• Maintain clean host stand and keep supplies stocked.
