Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process customer transactions through the check lane quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand the POS system, and handle various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons and loyalty offers according to company policy.
• Understand and adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
