• Understand the POS system and tenders (Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons).
• Understand cash handling limits and loss prevention.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations.
• Identify unsafe conditions and report issues to management.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Adhere to laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments.
• Manage conflicts calmly and effectively.
• Maintain honesty and integrity with customer data and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help when needed.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
