Qualifications

• Must have a friendly, guest-focused attitude and the ability to work well with a team.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Front desk and reservations training or experience preferred.
• Computer experience is essential, including Windows applications; Micros PMS is preferred.
• Good organization and administration skills are required.
• Oral and written communications skills are important.
• Ability to work without supervision and manage multiple tasks with detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Front Desk and Door Greeter operations and set a welcoming tone.
• Delegate daily tasks to Front Desk and Door Greeter teams for smooth operations.
• Direct workflow and address day-to-day needs with a calm, guest-focused approach.
• Advise management on staff development, training, and corrective actions.
• Keep guests informed with accurate information on events, room rates, and availability.
• Maintain knowledge of credit policies and emergency procedures for guest safety.
• Resolve guest concerns with warmth or escalate to leadership as needed.
• Assist in training and coaching Front Desk and Door Greeter staff.
• Prepare for panel interviews, trainings, and management meetings.
• Support budget goals by adjusting staffing to business needs.
• Document directives and guest requests in the PMS for seamless arrivals.
• Promote hotel values and teamwork during peak times.
• Safeguard confidential files and exercise discretion with guest arrangements.
• Create weekly schedules with fairness and operational awareness.
• Fill in as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
