Job summary

The MCR Tallahassee State Capitol property is seeking a Front Desk Agent dedicated to delivering a friendly arrival and departure experience while promptly addressing guest needs with hospitality. Key duties include efficient check-in/out, up-to-date knowledge of room rates and promotions, and handling mail per shift checklists, all while upholding MCR standards of cleanliness and guest-first service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to Follow Guidelines: Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Handle Pace and Pressure: Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening, Conflict Resolution: Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns.
• Communication Skills: Must be able to convey information clearly.
• Hospitality and Guest Service: Must have a desire to serve all guests.

Responsibilities

• Check-in/Check-out efficiency: All guests checked-in/out in a timely manner and follow-up to ensure comfort.
• Rate Schedule: Up-to-date understanding of room rates and promotions.
• Incoming Mail: Receive and note all incoming mail per daily shift checklist.
