Job summary

Montauk Yacht Club is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional service from check-in to check-out. You will coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales to meet guest needs and maintain seamless operations.

Responsibilities include processing reservations, handling inquiries, and guiding guests on local attractions and dining options. Strong communication and multitasking in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Experience with hotel reservation systems (InforHMS, Alice) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and provide a warm check-in experience.
• Check in guests by verifying reservations, processing payments, and assigning rooms.
• Handle check-outs and ensure accurate charges and positive guest impressions.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve guest issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Provide information on hotel services, local attractions, and dining options; assist with special requests.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage phone calls and direct to appropriate departments; monitor emails for reservations.
• Maintain accurate guest records and process reservations and cancellations.
• Assist with preparing reports, inventory checks, and stocking front desk supplies.
• Ensure guest and team safety in line with hotel policies.
