Job summary

Hampton Hall Club Inc in Bluffton, SC is seeking a friendly Recreation/Fitness Attendant to greet guests, assist with programs and equipment, and uphold member service standards.

You will help schedule guests, host activities, keep the Fitness Center and pool areas clean, report hazards, and process member payments. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are preferred; CPR/First Aid is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior recreation/fitness background preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in fitness and/or recreation activities.
• Serve as host/emcee for group activities.
• Be a source of Hampton Hall Club information to provide a safe, fun, and memorable experience.
• Promote a healthy environment for guests.
• Provide information about fitness, recreation, and social activities.
• Promote rules and safety for the Fitness Center and Aquatics facilities.
• Observe activity and respond to emergencies per procedures.
• Clean and maintain equipment and supplies; report accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Welcome guests and maintain a professional attitude toward owners and guests.
• Daily cleaning of pool deck and Fitness Center.
• Cater to member needs and special requests.
• Process payments made by members.
• Maintain a professional and organized front desk area.
