Beaufort County in Bluffton, SC seeks a Recreation Aide to assist customers with registration and information, answer questions about the facility and programs, and support Parks and Recreation staff with athletic events and recreation activities. This position works under close supervision according to set procedures.

The role involves greeting patrons, processing registrations and fees, maintaining facilities, performing admin tasks, enforcing safety rules, and assisting with special events

Qualifications

• Does not require completion of high school.
• Requires a short demonstration up to and including one month of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.

Responsabilités

• Provides friendly, prompt customer service; greets customers and offers program information.
• Registers patrons for programs and collects fees per cashiering policies.
• Maintains clean, orderly facilities.
• Performs filing and other administrative tasks.
• Assists with special events and provides coverage for staff.
• Enforces facility and safety regulations.
• Communicates patron concerns to management.
• Assists in closing duties and secures lights and equipment.
• Makes minor repairs to equipment.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
