Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for wellness classes, services, and member interactions.
• Deliver personalized service before, during, and after classes and wellness appointments.
• Uphold department standards for exceptional member experiences.
• Serve at the Palmetto Bluff Club Fitness Center front desk four shifts per week, greeting members, checking in participants, and assisting instructors.
• Complete front desk tasks: Wellness Café transactions, retail sales, member inquiries, billing, and appointment coordination.
• Keep studios clean, organized, and well-presented; perform routine facility sweeps/inspections.
• Maintain overall upkeep of the front desk area.
• Process Café and retail transactions, provide product recommendations, deliver excellent service.
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation as assigned.
• Support wellness events and departmental initiatives as needed.
• Attend quarterly All-Hands meetings and trainings.

Job Summary

The Wellness Member Experience Associate plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a welcoming, polished, and hospitable environment for members within a dynamic club setting. This position delivers exceptional, personalized service at every touchpoint while supporting the daily operations of the Wellness Department. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, reliable, and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to member service, facility presentation, and ensuring a seamless wellness experience.

Essential Job Functions

• Ensure a safe, welcoming, energetic, and well-structured environment for all wellness classes, services, and member interactions.
• Deliver a high level of personalized service and attention to members before, during, and after classes and wellness appointments.
• Uphold and role model department standards for exceptional member experiences.
• Serve as a professional presence at the Palmetto Bluff Club Fitness Center front desk four shifts per week, greeting members, checking participants into classes and appointments, supporting instructors, and assisting with daily operations.
• Complete front desk operational tasks, including Wellness Café transactions, retail sales, member inquiries, daily billing, and appointment coordination.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout all studios; complete assigned facility sweeps and inspections.
• Core responsibility is to maintain the overall upkeep of the Palmetto Bluff Club Fitness Center front desk.
• Process Wellness Café and retail transactions accurately, provide product recommendations, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation as assigned.
• Support wellness events, special programs, and departmental initiatives as needed.
• Attend required quarterly All-Hands meetings, training sessions, and other required team gatherings.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude.
• Previous hospitality experience in resort or club environment is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in POS systems, reservation software, and calendar management.
• Ability to develop positive relationships, always remain humble, and crush expectations.
• CPR/First Aid certified.
• Hungry, humble, and smart teammate.

Physical Requirements

• Work tasks are performed both indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments on a timely basis.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Talking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates.
