Job summary

Buck Hill Ski and Snowboard Area is seeking enthusiastic Food and Beverage team members to provide an excellent guest purchasing experience in the Chalet. You will interact with guests, take orders, serve snacks and drinks, and help keep the chalet clean and stocked.

This seasonal, part-time role offers flexible hours, a free season pass, 50% discount on chalet food, and a fun work environment. Previous bartending experience is a plus, and strong people skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently.
• Able to communicate clearly, calmly and effectively with guests.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (>4–6 hours) without sitting.
• Must enjoy working with the public and have strong people skills.
• Must have basic computer and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and POS system.
• Take orders and serve snacks and drinks.
• Greet and interact with guests in the chalet.
• Stock and replenish bar and food inventory.
• Ensure guests purchase correct items and provide recommendations.
• Keep dining spaces clean and organized.
• Open and close cash register as needed.
• Assist with bussing tables and washing dishes.
