Job summary

Lakes Area Vineyard Church is seeking a part-time Hospitality & Events Coordinator to support Sunday hospitality, events, and LA Moms operations. You will recruit, train, and lead volunteers, ensure welcoming spaces, and coordinate decor and church-wide events.

Responsibilities include managing hospitality teams, coordinating weddings and funerals, supervising LA Moms, and creating relational environments that reflect our church culture. Flexible hours and collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a heart for hospitality and creating welcoming environments.
• Ability to recruit, lead, encourage, and develop volunteers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in ministry, hospitality, or event coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, schedule, and care for Sunday hospitality teams.
• Ensure welcoming spaces and experiences for guests and regulars.
• Support guest connection and assimilation with church leadership.
• Coordinate church-wide events, including weddings & funerals.
• Oversee LA Moms volunteers and ministry logistics.
• Coordinate seasonal décor to reflect church culture.
• Plan women’s events and develop volunteer leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
