The Doorperson at Highgate Hotels welcomes guests in a courteous, efficient manner and assists with transportation needs at the Times Square property. You will help with luggage, greeting guests, and directing arrivals and departures.

Responsibilities include assisting with taxis, opening doors, guiding VIPs, and keeping the front entrance tidy while maintaining a warm, service-oriented demeanor all shift long.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Heavy work - lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload luggage carts and assist guests with tagging, storing and retrieving luggage.
• Assist guests with cabs and other transportation requirements.
• Call the garage for valet cars, if applicable.
• Open vehicle and hotel doors and greet arriving guests.
• Respond to guest questions and provide information on local attractions and events.
• Greet VIPs by name and announce departing shuttles.
• Maintain cleanliness of motor entrance and front door.
