Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks a Cruise & Excursions Director to lead guest engagement both on board and ashore, coordinating entertainment, excursions, and experiences across destinations. You will supervise activities, manage vendors, and represent the brand with polished presentation and exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Enthusiasm, confidence, and a can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Strong sense of production and presentation.
• Basic knowledge of audio/visual equipment.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. geography preferred.
• TWIC credential required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging entertainment, enrichment and activity programs.
• Communicate to guests via daily program and PA system; interact with guests.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Confirm and coordinate shore excursions, explorations and transfers.
• Oversee inventory and vendor communications; ensure timely service.
• Promote on-board sales and brand loyalty programs.
• Report status to Home Office regularly.
