Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks a Cruise & Excursions Director for its 2026 season. This high-interaction role blends on-board guest entertainment with ashore excursion management, reporting to the Hotel General Manager.

The director will lead activities, coordinate vendors, and ensure premium excursion experiences across destinations. The position requires energy, creative presentation skills, and a strong guest-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in hospitality, tourism, or event management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Energetic, confident, can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of audio/visual equipment basics.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Understanding of U.S. geography (preferred).
• TWIC credential required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging entertainment, enrichment and activity programs for guests.
• Communicate shipboard daily program and events to guests.
• Oversee shore excursions, inventory, and vendor coordination.
• Greet guests and act as brand ambassador on excursions.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors, guides, and operators for timely service.
• Perform duties as needed, including bartending with other management.
• Interact with guests to enhance the on-board experience.
