Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality in Plano, TX is seeking a Dining Supervisor to oversee daily dining services, ensure guest satisfaction, and supervise kitchen and service staff. The role involves coordinating events, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and partnering with the Chef Manager to manage menus and costs.

The position requires a High school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years in a similar role, and specialized catering training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience in similar position.
• Specialized training in catering.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of daily dining services to ensure client and customer satisfaction.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure conformance to standards and arrange for purchases/repairs.
• Build and maintain a working 2+ week schedule with at least 3 weeks posted.
• May purchase food and/or other supplies to ensure efficient operation and maintain vendor relationships.
• Assist with determining staff requirements and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Ensure safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards are met.
• Assist with event menu writing and cost control with Chef Manager.
• Assist with production of food.
• Coordinate and assist in various events per client standards with the Chef.
• Meet with prospective clients to review event requirements and execution.
