Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Guest Services Agent in Charlotte, NC. You will serve as the first contact for guests, handling check-ins, information provision, and front desk operations while supporting the Operations Manager.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, accuracy in transactions, and upselling opportunities. The position requires a High School diploma, 1 year of hotel or retail experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of hotel or retail customer service experience is preferred.
• Fluent English: read, write and speak clearly.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and locations.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately per procedures and reports.
• May book guest reservations and handle changes or cancellations.
• Upsell rooms to maximize revenue and follow seasonal pricing strategies.
• Ensure guest requests are fulfilled and security of guest information is maintained.
• Maintain service at the front desk and support Operations Manager as needed.
