Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of El Cajon is seeking a Receptionist to greet customers and handle phone calls at the dealership, routing inquiries to the right teams and ensuring an excellent first impression. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior retail or customer service experience preferred, especially in automotive settings.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and previous retail and/or customer service experience; automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership experience a PLUS.
• Previous retail and/or customer service experience.
• Must be customer service oriented and professional.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls with professional telephone skills.
• Greet customers at the dealership and assist guests.
• Direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Take written messages and relay promptly.
• Coordinate questions with department staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Assist service staff in informing customers vehicles are ready.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
