Job summary

Mercedes-Benz of El Cajon is seeking a courteous Receptionist to warmly greet customers in person and on the phone, routing calls to the right team members and providing timely messages. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with prior retail or customer service experience preferred in an automotive dealership environment.

No experience is required, but a friendly, energetic, professional demeanor and strong computer skills are essential; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls according to company policies with excellent telephone skills.
• Greet customers at the dealership professionally and enthusiastically.
• Direct calls to appropriate staff and take written messages as needed.
• Coordinate questions and issues with other departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
• Inform customers when their vehicles are ready and follow up as needed.
• Assist service staff with customer communications and other tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
