Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Concierge for The Steamboat Grand in Steamboat Springs, CO. This role provides personalized recommendations, coordinates activities, and arranges services to enhance guest experiences, building connections with guests and owners.

The ideal candidate anticipates needs, assists with transportation, dining, recreation, and special requests, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure seamless service and high professionalism.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in hospitality industry required.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task effectively and maintain professionalism in fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of associations helpful.
• Communicate clearly in English, both verbal/written.
• Employment contingent upon successful background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and welcoming resource for guests and owners, coordinating services to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist with transportation, dining, recreation, and special requests; connect guests with local knowledge.
• Handle check-in/check-out processes when needed and monitor guest flow to improve experiences.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Sales and other departments to plan activities and resolve issues.
• Oversee in-room IPTV systems and personalize guest experiences via Tangerine MediaRoom & Citrus Link.
• Distribute regular communications to owners via email, mail, and internet regarding changes and updates.
