Placements24 client in Paarl is seeking a charming Hotel Concierge to be the first point of contact for guests, providing expert recommendations and seamless service for dining, tours, transportation and event tickets.

The ideal candidate is an eloquent communicator with extensive knowledge of the local area and a passion for warm hospitality, able to coordinate with partners and maintain discretion at the concierge desk.

Qualifications

• Experience in concierge/front desk or guest services in hospitality.
• Excellent knowledge of local attractions, restaurants and culture.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance, friendly demeanor.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Make reservations for dining, entertainment, tours, and transport.
• Handle guest requests and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Keep up-to-date on local events and attractions in Paarl.
• Coordinate with external vendors for guest services.
