Job summary

AYR Wellness is seeking an Intake team member to greet patients and customers in person and by phone, set a positive tone, and help maintain a clean and organized front desk area in our Fredericksburg dispensary.

You will handle patient check-in, ID verification, product knowledge, and serve as the liaison with other store departments while upholding strict state policies and delivering exceptional hospitality to shoppers.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience in hospitality, pharmacy, retail.
• Able to pass background checks and meet state age requirements.
• Flexible shifts including weekends/holidays; punctual attendance.
• Effective oral and written communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide highest level of customer service to patients and customers on-site and by phone with a welcoming attitude.
• Process patients by verifying ID and entering information into POS.
• Answer phones, emails, check-in patients, and update patient files.
• Explain services to new patients/customers briefly.
• Become educated on cannabis products offered and willing to learn.
• Manage visitor access of vendors and contractors with Store Manager.
• Act as liaison to departments on security needs.
• Learn and perform new tasks during downtime.
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean, safe, and guest-ready.
