Ayr Wellness, Inc. is hiring for an Intake position at our Fredericksburg dispensary. You will welcome patients both in-person and by phone, validate IDs, and enter data into the POS system to ensure smooth check-ins.

The role requires strong customer service and communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized lobby area while learningour cannabis products and procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or healthcare settings.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.
• Willingness to learn about cannabis products and store processes.
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-level customer service and greet patients in person and by phone.
• Check-in patients, verify IDs, and enter information into the POS system.
• Answer phones and emails; maintain accurate patient files at the front desk.
• Explain services to new patients and guide them through the process.
• Learn about cannabis products offered and stay compliant with regulations.
• Manage visitor access with Store Manager and assist with security needs.
• Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Support other store roles as needed and accept new tasks during downtime.
