Job summary

You will handle registration, explain rates, input guest details into the property system, process payments, balance the house bank, and coordinate with PBX, concierge, and other departments to resolve issues and exceed expectations. Qualifications

• High school diploma required, college experience preferred.
• No prior experience required; hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the front office and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome; provide information and assistance.
• Complete the registration process and input guest details into the computer system.
• Confirm guest information, room rate and duties related to checkout.
• Code electronic keys, balance house bank and process payments accurately.
• Answer the telephone within three rings and relay messages to guests.
• Resolve guest complaints and negotiate solutions when needed.
• Perform PBX and Concierge duties as required.
• Assist with cashiering, faxes, photocopies and mail retrieval.
