Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Guest Services Agent for the Hampton Inn Chandler location in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on friendly, efficient front desk service during check-in, stay, and check-out, while maximizing occupancy and revenue.

Candidates should have strong communication, computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, handling inquiries, cash handling, promoting promotions, and maintaining front desk operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• College coursework in a related field is helpful.
• Computer experience is required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk according to Highgate Hotel standards.
• Maintain PBX console operation and ensure hotel standards are met.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation.
• Handle logging and delivery of packages, mail and messages to guests and meeting rooms.
• Review Front Office log and Trace File daily; answer guest inquiries on restaurants, transportation, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies; know rates, packages and promotions.
• Be familiar with in-house groups and events; manage reservations and rate quoting.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed; ensure smooth check-ins/outs.
