Job summary

AvantStay is seeking a warm, professional Bellman to greet guests, assist with luggage, and ensure a smooth arrival and departure experience at our Austin properties. You will coordinate with front desk teams, provide local recommendations, and help guests enjoy a seamless, stress-free stay reflecting AvantStay’s high brand standards.

The role emphasizes proactive guest care, strong communication, and reliability, with weekend and holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, valet, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, guest-focused attitude.
• Professional appearance and demeanor with strong attention to detail.
• Reliability, flexibility, and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, providing attentive and professional assistance.
• Provide a warm, professional greeting to all guests upon arrival, creating a welcoming first impression.
• Assist guests with bicycle rentals, setup, and equipment needs.
• Assist guests with luggage and personal belongings, ensuring proper handling and delivery to guest rooms.
• Escort guests to their rooms, explaining hotel amenities, property features, and services.
• Keep valet and bell areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Support the front desk team to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
• Provide directions, recommendations, and information about AvantStay properties and local attractions.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their stay.
• Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and a guest-first attitude.
• Uphold AvantStay’s brand image and service standards at all times.
