Job summary

JL Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Guest Services Associate in Anchorage to greet and register guests, assist with check-out, and resolve guest concerns with prompt, courteous service.

The role promotes hotel services and upgrades, handles payments, and collaborates with team to ensure a smooth stay. Strong English, excellent communication and computer skills are required for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Completes the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate.
• Ensures guest knows location of room and provides welcome packet to guest.
• Assists guest with check out payments or charges and records vouchers, credit, and other forms of payment.
• Greets customers with a friendly welcome and provides information on hours, events and VIP programs.
• Responds to special requests and forwards to appropriate associates for decisions and actions.
• Answers phone and email inquiries and relays messages to guests.
