Job summary

Onni is seeking a House Attendant to maintain cleanliness in guest corridors, lobbies, and assigned areas at our Seattle property. You will assist Room Attendants, restock supplies, and handle laundry-related tasks while upholding safety and confidentiality standards.

The role requires a motivated, organized individual with strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of multi-tasking and adhering to housekeeping policies.

Qualifications

• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic reading skills.
• Must be organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Possess basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Flexible schedule that may include holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains lobbies, guest corridors and assigned areas of the property.
• Collects dirty linen from Room Attendants and delivers to the laundry for cleaning.
• Supplies clean linen to Room Attendants.
• Collects and disposes of trash and recycled materials collected by Room Attendants and throughout the hotel.
• Sweeps and vacuums carpets.
• Polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Maintains cleanliness and re-stock all storage rooms with required linen and supplies.
• Assists in laundry room with washing/drying, folding, ironing, and stocking shelves of linen.
• Assists in property/guest room deep clean process and the movement/arrangement of furniture.
• Follows company Housekeeping Policy as stated.
• Adheres to company Lost and Found policy and procedures.
• Follows and maintains a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Reports maintenance issues to Housekeeper Manager by completing a work order.
• Conducts self in a friendly and attentive manner during all guest encounters.
• Ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintains working carts clean and organized all the time.
• Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
