Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to enhance the guest experience in-store. You will greet guests, assist with tasks, and guide customers through promos, pickup options, and loyalty sign-ups. You will use handheld scanners and store tech to solve guest needs while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Training is provided to cover products, services, and store policies. A flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is expected as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard.
• Greet guests and assist with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs.
• Inform guests about current promos and store activities.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products and services to resolve issues.
• Assist with enrollment in Target Loyalty programs and sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain features of the Target App and how to use Drive Up/Order Pickup.
• Follow store policies and assist with returns when needed.
