Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel.
• Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary.
• Promptly, accurately and efficiently know how and where to post all charges.
• Maintain working knowledge of Front Office system, including daily transactions and occasional tasks.
• Handle cash, checks and credit card payments accurately and provide correct change.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Know hotel rates, discounts and how to handle each.
• Handle same-day reservations and follow cancellation/relocation procedures when needed.
