Job summary

Target is hiring a Guest Advocate in Missouri to welcome guests, assist with purchases, and provide a quick, friendly shopping experience.

You will greet customers at 10ft and 4ft, help locate items, explain promotions, enroll guests in loyalty programs, and use handheld scanners and the Target App.

Qualifications

• Ability to greet guests and provide friendly assistance.
• Comfort with a fast-paced, active and physically demanding role.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of Target promotions, offers and loyalty programs.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and store technology.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting guests and resolving questions.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft and initiate warm, helpful interactions.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Explain promos and how to use Target App features, including loyalty signup.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently, complying with safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during open hours.
• Stay compliant with safety policies and store procedures.
