Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience while ensuring store tasks operate smoothly.

You will adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies, operate POS per corporate standards, manage cash and inventory, and support housekeeping and replenishment efforts to keep shelves stocked and ready for customers.

Qualifications

• Flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to work in varying temperatures outdoors and in coolers.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to access all areas of the store and complete paperwork accurately.
• Support onboarding and training for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Follow safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete housekeeping duties (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products ensuring in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.
