Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Be visible, greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently; handle tenders per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, etc.).
• Collaborate with Front-end associates to encourage teamwork.
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and proper temperature logs.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
