Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to greet guests and drive a positive shopping experience. The role supports store operations, safety, and merchandising initiatives with a focus on guest satisfaction and efficient POS handling.

The position requires physical stamina, flexibility to work various shifts, and the ability to move through all store areas while assisting customers and vendors. Training and onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Able to climb ladders, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to access all store areas (selling floor, stock area, register).
• Able to count, read and write accurately for required paperwork.
• Support GSA onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale; maintain cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
