Job summary

Global Partners LP is hiring a Guest Service Associate to drive top-notch guest experiences and support routine store tasks. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and effective store operations, including POS transactions and stock replenishment.

You’ll greet guests, assist with requests, and help maintain a welcoming shopping environment while adhering to company policies and safety standards. The position offers flexible hours and opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (outdoors, cooler, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• You have the ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies and practices.
• Operate the point of sale; maintain cash, lottery, and tobacco levels as required.
• Complete store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
