Job summary

Torchy’s Lake Charles is hiring a friendly Hospitality Team Member who greets guests, takes orders, and helps ensure fast, accurate service with a smile.

You'll learn the menu, make personalized recommendations, run food to tables, keep areas clean, and work with the team to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Requirements include flexible scheduling, state and local Food Handler’s and Alcohol Server certifications, and 2 years in customer service or POS use.

Qualifications

• Availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Must meet state and local requirements for Food Handler’s and Alcohol Server certifications.
• Certification(s) must be obtained by your first day or within the timeline required by your location.
• 2 years of work experience providing customer service in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
• 2 years of experience using POS (point-of-sale) systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, ask questions to understand their needs, offer suggestions, and ensure each transaction is fast and accurate.
• Deliver outstanding hospitality, making each guest feel welcomed and valued from the moment they step into Torchy's.
• Learn the menu and maintain knowledge of current promotions to make personalized recommendations that delight guests.
• Run food to tables, ensure accuracy and speed, offer refills on chips and drinks, and identify opportunities to exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure all guest-facing areas are neat, clean, organized, and inviting.
• Work collaboratively with managers, the kitchen, and the Hospitality Team to ensure smooth service.
