Job summary

Macy’s is seeking an At Your Service Captain to serve as an advocate for the customer and a role model for colleagues. As an elevated hourly colleague, you will drive customer satisfaction, problem-solving, and brand loyalty through promotional and Omni selling initiatives such as Online Pickup in Store and Curbside.

You will work under a People Leader, with opportunities to advance to Sales and Customer Experience Manager, and typically work 30+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• Proficient in communicating effectively with customers and providing clear direction to colleagues.
• Self-starter in adapting quickly to changing customer expectations and needs.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast feedback to improve every customer experience.
• Resolve issues to convert returns into exchanges.
• Promote Macy’s mobile app to enhance in-store experience.
• Coordinate with People Leaders on store activities.
• Lead colleagues in executing tasks.
• Manage opening/closing procedures and settle registers.
• Oversee At Your Service area, processing orders and maintaining back of house standards.
