Job summary

Mohegan Sun in Montville, CT is seeking a friendly busser to support Floor & Cocktail Servers, reset tables quickly, and maintain dining room cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction, participate in daily pre-service meetings, and help with opening/closing side-work as directed by management. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience.
• Previous busser experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.
• Anticipates and accommodates the needs of the guests.
• Maintains the general cleanliness and orderliness of the tables.
• Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Heart-of-House support staff, servers, managers and chefs.
• Delivers, fills, re-fills water, as requested by guests and/or directed by servers.
• Clears and resets tables, cleans table area, including banquettes, during service.
• Helps ensure guest satisfaction through active participation in service.
• Maintains general cleanliness of stations and entire venue.
• Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
• Sets tables with proper settings and stocks side-stations with supplies.
• Performs opening and closing side-work as directed by management.
• Participates in marking tables for upcoming courses and attends daily pre-service meetings.
• Reports any breakage or damage to management.
• Lears by listening and leading by example.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and related environments.
• Works as part of a team and supports fellow team members.
