Job summary

Beauport Hospitality Group's Seaport Grille in Gloucester, MA is seeking an entry-level Busser to support servers by clearing and resetting tables, delivering food accurately, and helping maintain a positive guest experience. You’ll contribute to fast-paced operations, ensure cleanliness, and stay organized during busy shifts.

The position requires standing 8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and English communication. Base wage is $15/hr plus tips, with total compensation typically $17–$20/hr.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience of one (1) or more years in a Full-Service Restaurant, with a combination of previous Food & Beverage experience.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and walk/stand for most of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to serve guests with water, breads and butter to begin their dining experience and replenish as necessary.
• Complete designated side work efficiently and thoroughly.
• Practice cleanliness and safety in all dining areas.
• Assist in transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Participate in daily staff meetings and department training meetings.
• Assist team members as needed to promote a teamwork environment.
