Job summary

Smith & Wollensky in Boston, MA is seeking a dedicated Busser to clear and reset tables and assist guests during service. This full-time role reports to the FOH Manager and offers hourly pay in the range of $15.00–$25.00, with opportunities for growth in a renowned restaurant.

Responsibilities include maintaining restaurant cleanliness, stocking stations with silverware and napkins, supporting servers, greeting guests courteously, and ensuring smooth table turnover in a fast-paced setting at the

Qualifications

Demonstrates good judgment.
Must be pleasant, cooperative and take direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Exhibits and uses good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness.
Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

Clears away dishes from guests.
Re-sets tabletops with place settings, wipes down chairs.
Inspects and cleans carpet and other flooring when debris/liquid is detected.
Responds to guests’ questions and makes recommendations as appropriate.
Sets up and maintains the work including but not limited to setting up tables at the beginning or end of shift.
Caries trays back to dishwasher, unloads, and wipes trays clean.
