Job summary

The Beauport Hospitality Group is seeking a full-time General Maintenance/Janitor/Custodian for Cruiseport Gloucester and Seaport Grille in Gloucester, MA. You will perform daily custodial services to keep a clean, welcoming property and assist with event setup as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work 8 hours. You will handle light maintenance, safety procedures, and respond quickly to facility issues

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of custodial/maintenance experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to work a full shift and be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior areas, including floors, walls, and grounds.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, and waste disposal.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of tables and chairs for events.
• Respond to facility emergencies and coordinate with management.
• Follow safety procedures and report damages or maintenance needs.
