Job summary

Fairmont San Francisco, a landmark Nob Hill hotel, invites you to join as a Bellperson. You will deliver guests to rooms, handle luggage and messages, and provide a warm, welcoming experience guided by our standards.

Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, you will ensure courteous, efficient service, assist guests with hotel facilities, and maintain safety policies while upholding a professional image. Hourly rate: $27.96 USD gross.

Qualifications

• Previous customer related experience an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Highly responsible & reliable.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Guests to their rooms and assist with luggage.
• Offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Transfer luggage to and from guests' rooms promptly.
• Orient guests to room features and controls.
• Maintain lobby presence to assist Guests as directed by the Bell Captain.
• Answer questions about hotel facilities in a helpful manner.
• Follow department policies and safety standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
